That's a good question that I really don't have an answer for. I will have to check into it.
I was talking to someone at a campground that said they initially had trouble insuring their F450 for some reason. I think it was some insurance classification deal that made it a commercial vehicle. I should probably call my insurance company to see what the rate difference would be between the two.
The insurance is why i have a F350 , Atleast here in Califorina anything over a 350 is commercail and insurance is expensive. I tow a Raptor 4140 which is 43' with my 2012 F350 daully with no problem.
