I've done a lot of reading and research on this and I also disagree, at least in part. The shock absorbing pinbox doesn't correct the "chucking" or back and forth motion created by this, it simply dampens the jolt and softens the impact when it ocurrs. The softening of the jolt does reduce the effect on the trailer. Not only is it felt less in the truck, it's less in the trailer as well. My trailer already has the MORryde CRE3000 suspension upgrade and there are lots of mods I can make to the trailer suspension to make it even better but where do you stop? How much more $$ do I spend when I've already achieved the improvement I was hoping for? At lease for me...the pinbox was a very satisfactory solution to my problem.
