A cushioned pin box should be the last step to correct "Chucking". Not mentioned by the OP was if the 5er has shocks, if your 5er doesn't ride as smooth as the TV I am sure you will feel it. I chose to fix the ride of the 5er rather than masking it. Our 5er chucked when we first got it ,the biggest improvement came with install of shocks!
