Butch, I was thinking of those who are pulling heavy enough loads to have the rear axle rap up a little bit against the leaf spring, which would turn and load the leaf springs.
Then, if the trailer pulled and then pushed on the truck, the spring could load and unload creating a chucking motion. Kind of like an on and off of the gas pedal.
I understand this is a far out idea but some have tried just about everything in the book without solving the chucking problem.
