Chucking

Lots of discussion on the subject with some not being able to solve the problem. I was wondering, for those who could not solve it, if the problem could also be caused from the axle wrapping and unwrapping on leaf spring vehicles under a heavy load. I have never seen this mentioned.

Much like our old vehicles experienced, rear tire hop, under severe acceleration.

Just a thought, what do you think?

    Spring wrap normally only occurs when accelerating. Most of the chucking is driving down the road at a steady speed and not taking off from a stop. Most people don't have a problem with it on a paved highway only on concrete roadways.

    I don't know of to many pickups with enough power to cause spring wrap at 60 to 65 MPH when loaded.

    My trailer chucks severely with no leaf springs. Other issues at play.
