- darsbenExplorer IIOkay but the price is higher than can be purchased elsewhere.
DO YOU Get an AMAZON commission? - Maine-iacsExplorerFor the $25. difference, I prefer to deal with a company I know.
- B_O__PlentyExplorer III would read about the pros and cons of using a cover before you buy one. There is a lot of information on here about it. There is more damage done in the Summer from Sun than in the Winter from snow. After you get a build up of snow on the roof it is protected from the UV rays. My personal opinion is no cover...
B.O. - Maine-iacsExplorerWell, we bit the bullet, bought the cover and it's in place. Time will tell how well it holds up. I suspect I have a pinhole leak I haven't located yet so that's my major incentive for the cover.
- shadows4Explorer IIITry this for your pics.

Don't mean to be critical, But I think your straps under 5R for your new cover are pulled too tight..
looks like it is pulling pretty hard on the sides.. could tear it.
would recommend loosening.
shouldn't pull tight... just enough to keep cover from flapping..
You can trust me.. born and raised in Maine... - Maine-iacsExplorerTim, thanks for the input. I'm keeping a close eye on it. I don't want too much tension but I also don't want it flapping in the breeze.
Why on earth would a native Maineiac retire to NJ? Someone holding you hostage? :) - temccarthy1Explorer

Good idea to watch the tension.. Straps will hopefully loosen a little.. I know on my Adco cover the instructions in bold type said not to over tighten straps underneath...These covers are expensive enough without tearing them in year 1. Yeah.. being held hostage in NJ by Grandkids..haha.. Born in Lewiston and raised in Madawaska ( end of the earth) and Caribou (near the end of the earth), college at Univ of Maine in Orono.... But left as an adult cause the jobs were elsewhere.. Career in Pa, Tx, and mostly NJ.. retired now..will be relocating to Fl soon... Can't afford NJ on a Pension! have a summer home mid coast Maine in Round Pond, ( Near Damariscotta, Wiscasset )Spend August to October there... Where are you from? - Maine-iacsExplorer

Down in York County, small town called Arundel. Aside from 4 years in USAF stayed right here in Maine. Spent a few weeks at Loring one winter. That was long enough!
