Colorado Springs in winter ?

I may have a change of locations here soon and it may be Colorado Springs. I dont want to rent right off the bat, but would rather use the RV.

Any pointers or suggestions for the potential of using the RV for one winter there? Cold weather etc?

Decent RV parks or are they even open there in winter?
