Columbus 295RL

Thanks for the replies. Since a new truck is not in the current plan, the really nice Cedar Creek is out of our capability. We looked at the Silverback 29RE but a) you could not get to the fridge with slides in and b) the bathroom sink/mirror were right against the wall so you needed to be a contortionist if you were right handed and wanted to brush your hair and look in the mirror at the same time and c) believe it or not in a unit that nice there was no bottom cupboard big enough for the 20# bag of dog food.
Maybe by the time we go to our next unit we'll have a bigger truck. I am finding several options if we are willing to go to 37' but am really concerned about fitting into campgrounds. I can think of many where it is a bit short with our 30' 5er -- although a center door will give us more options within campsites so might actually make it seem shorter. The rear door does pretty much mean you can access the fridge and bedroom.
Unfortunately it seems like all the nicer brands are no longer making shorter units. I have seen a trend on mfg pages of "dealer stock only" on shorter models. Watch for my forthcoming rant post on this (after I do a bit more research) :)
On edit -- I am continuing to search for something to put on my list of possibles to compare against the Montana High Country 325RL.. Then will have a post asking about those models.
