Compartment Doors
I have a 2006 King of the Road Royal Villa.My question is does anyone know if there is any wood inside of the outside storage doors.The reason I ask is I want to install hatchlift kits on the compartment doors.Thanks.

- Its hard to get them to hold on the doors without wood. I tried to add them to my last rig, and it requires a large backing plate, and even with that there is not much for the screws to grab onto.
Those lifts are pretty powerful. Its hard to keep the ones on this rig tight now, and I have wood in the doors. - Thanks for the replys.
- Some glue and screw luan to the inside of their compartment doors then install the kit
- on most Rv's there is no wood in the compartment doors, only sheets of styrofome
