Didnt think i would post on this tread. But, did you know/ have an idea if you would be able to street legal the 3 axle dodge?
No. I just did it cause this is America. Land of the free to do with in reason.
Added more to my first post. Within reason sure. But safety will always be priorty for most LEO's.
If you could see these spacers. You would see they are of high quality. The law code says I can have 1/4 inch spacers. But I had 3 inch. But if that is the best problem he could find after the major change I did with adding 3rd axel. Then I am doing good.
Here is pic of spacers

But, did you know/ have an idea if you would be able to street legal the 3 axle dodge? Im not by any means trying to be debbie downer, but the to be radiclly changing a vehicle to go down highways and city streets. You probly should have checked out all the regulations. But i dont live in WA either so maybe things are alittle more laxed up there.
- SecuritiExplorerJUst some updated pics.

PS: got my fines in mail today from DOT.
I got 2 for each axel coming out past fenders.
I got 2 for having wheel spacers on each axel.
And one for not having my child in booster seat.
He was 5 years old. And I did have him buckeled in.
Total $450.00 in fines. - Doughboy12Explorer

He is...start at the beginning and read JUST his posts, so as to get you up to speed on the thread. (Recommended for anyone "just tuning in so as to prevent such questions that would answer themselves if you took the time to read a bit.)
Thx for the help there Doughboy, But your advice May be a bit overmuch for what's really in this thread? Since he's working on a real truck Now, rather than the PU. Much more realistic for heavier uses.
If you read All the posts, you'd notice at the top of this page where I went back and found the change in equipment? But thx.:B
Then why the stupid comment/question? - SecuritiExplorer

Had one of the county clerks stop by my place one time and asked me what I was going to do with the two big piles of dirt that I was spreading in my front yard. Bottom line was I was supposed to get a permit to spread the dirt.
Told him he had thirty seconds to get off my private property or I would remove him. He said "I am a county employee, you can't talk to me like that!" I responded "I am a Federal employee, you now have 25 seconds!". He left shortly after that. :B
Federal Employee = DOD. Hey, that counts. :)
Some of them just get a big head until you squish it a little.
Good advise. But I don't know what I will be fighting till I get the paper work. He called me a jerk and was very disrespectful. I was very respectful towards him. But let's face it. They are under controll of the whole situation. He brought the tow truck out just to cost me money. No other reason! The truck could not fit my truck on it because of the extra axel. - ArmySFCRetExplorerHad one of the county clerks stop by my place one time and asked me what I was going to do with the two big piles of dirt that I was spreading in my front yard.
