This is why I posted the question. This site has knowledge beyong compare. I was aware of the quality and reputation of the "Ribs" and the Duravis 250. I would consider them despite their significant additional cost.I did nit know about the 500...
Here is my thinking though...I had no issues with the China Bombs on my Big Horn in 30,000 miles. Was I just lucky? I tow at 65 mph and keep the tires properly inflated. I try to stay off the cubs as well. I only plan on running this trailer 2 more years...or so... then move to a newer and larger trailer that will likely have 17.5 G rated tires...will my criteria make spending the additional money for R250's and steel carcass unnecessary performance overkill?
The R500's are only $30 a tire more than the Coopers. Jimlin certainly makes buying the Coopers less stressful given his success with them to date...but $120 is not going to make or break the decision...
