Countertops

Question

I have a Rockwood 8281WS fifth wheel that I have owned for a little over three years. The cheap countertops have started warping and I need to replace them. I see the newer models come with Corian countertops. Are those the best to replace with or go with another type material? Also has anyone had theirs replaced and at what cost?Thanks.

We have Corian and like themThere is new types of synthetic material that would work just as good.Look on Lowes for some examples.

back when I was looking at Neumars I discovered that they had two types of corian countertops. One was more or less solid and OK. the other was a very thin laminate over ???? and several of the models at the dealer already had thin cracks out at the sink corners. so know what exactly you are buying.

Don’t know how it is in an RV but we were very unhappy with Corian in our home. It is soft and scratches very easily. Pots and pans on the counters always leaves marks.
