Curt Hitch

Thanking about treading my 2008 Dodge short bed for a new 2015 Dodge 3500 short bed. I've got a SuperGlide in the 08 but the new 15 has the 5th wheel prep. kit from the factory and the SuperGlide won't fit.
I'm looking at the Curt C16530-1621 that fits the oem prep kit.It is not a slider.
My 5er has the cut back front corners and says it has an 88 degree turning angle. Has anyone used this hitch or have an opinion on this setup
I've got the fever so lets here the good or bad and no I don't want a long bed.

Thank in advance = Jerry
  • For whatever it's worth, I have a Curt hitch in a short bed F250. Bought it late 2009, I've been all over the US with it, approx. 35,000 miles to every corner of the country. In the first year I used the slider a couple times. I've never used it in the last 4-5 years. In retrospect, I really didn't need it the first couple of times, either, it was a confidence issue.
  • Or....... you could simply get the picture frame adapter and use your Superglide
