Damon Outlaw 3611

Anybody else got one of these ?

Looks like I'll be picking up one on Friday.
'07 Model with Chevy engine.

Information ?? Good, bad or ugly ??
Will be used to haul my new Can-Am Spyder to NASCAR races.....mostly.
  • I know they have a steep ramp, make sure you test getting the Spyder into it before you buy.

Not a fan of Damon products but with it being about 11 years old, condition is more important than anything else just check everything, not just appliances but drawers, closets, roof (of course) EVERYTHING.
  • Be sure to search on the Class A forum, owners of the Outlaw and Bounty Hunter seemed to chat more over there. Neither seemed very popular, but if it's in good condition and not abused. Plus I'm sure you know what to look for.

Blackdiamond's comment was the one thing that stood out from some previous owners experience though they were riding bikes (Harley/Goldwing style) and they had issues with the bikes getting over the hinge portion. I see that the Spyder has a 4.5" for ground clearance, so I would defiantly check that out.

Well it LOOKS like there will be no problem.....but that 4.5 inches isn't much.

Thanks for the wake up call.

I think I will modify my time line a bit and allow time for a "ride in" test.

Cool! Glad it worked out for you.

The Damon does have some troublesome quirks.
Like NO 12 V outlets anywhere in the living quarters.
