My 2007 HH came with Demco pin box
When unhooking the kin pin plate is always in the 'forward' position
Using both hands I can push it backwards so that the plate is not sticking out
If I grab king pin I can pull it forward with a lot of effort
Watching it via rear view mirror while towing it gives the impression that it is gliding back & forth like it is 'waxed'
But then again 3000# pin weight is being pushed/pulled by 14K 5vr
10 yrs and still working the same way..GREAT!
