Go outside and make sure the slide is all the way in. It should be that when the outside flange seals against the gasket on the outer wall, thats what causes the slight "lift" on the inside. I believe it is actually a little "out of plumb" for that purpose. There should...if I remember correctly....be a gap between slides on the inside when both are full in. Your saying the carpet overlaps? I dont remember that.
P.S.
There are also some teflon "sliders" on the bottom of each slide out....make sure you havent lost one or more of those.
Both slides are fully sealed on the outside and as for the inside the slides do not touch each other but the carpet overhang from the smaller slide (dinette / lazy boy chairs) slides under the super slide... - mrbuck50ExplorerOh....and as an update to the whole matching the stain issues below. I called Jayco who sent me to Middlebury Hardwood (the cabinet makers) who told me yes....they could sell me the stain to match....$9.50 / qt.......with a $42 hazardous shipping charge !!!!

As most of you know when bringing this slide in just before it is all the ways in the end rises a little so when you bring in the other slide the carpeting of that slide goes under the super slide...well our super slide comes in OK but just recently will not raise when it gets all the way end...
Does anyone know how the slide "rises" and is this something I could fix? (remember I am far from being mechanically inclined)... - RoadLizardExplorerI am having lots of bounce in the rear of my 2008 299RL. Could adding shocks be the answer. If so is a do-it-yourself job?
- petekerwienExplorerYou can buy butcher block in different sizes. Cut it to fit.
- CHV_FRKExplorerThey might let you know what brand and color they used.
- mrbuck50ExplorerI have a pretty large piece of a white specked corian type material....she may just have to do with that and call it a "cutting board". I will try to take a few pictures tonight....if I can figure out how to post them on here. I wonder if anyone on here has a contact at Jayco? Maybe they have some of the old color stain left since the new Pinnacle has a different color.
- CHV_FRKExplorerI was wondering the same things... I was to add a little island to our setup, and would need to stain a new cabinet. As far as the counter, good luck... it's really a setup for rvs... I would just find something close... or go black or wood.
One benefit of our setup is when ours goes the width is wide open... It will just get closer to the sink.
