- whporwilExplorerHey Dana, now might be the time to tell all of us your experence pulling your trailer. What have you noticed differently between the 3/4 and the 1 ton.

I'll be in Columbia this weenend picking up my new get around town truck. - CHV_FRKExplorerall I have to say is......FLAMES
- M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerAbout time you guys joined the 1-ton dually club as we have had ours for the last 2 1/2 years, way before we even bought our Designer...funny thing is we found ours on a Ford dealers lot with only 16K miles on it...
BTW...anyone hear from Dave (2QAYL) lately? - cruzExplorerHey Dana !!
I just put a deposit on another truck myself !! Although not new, it's a 2006 Silverado 3500 DRW, LT, CC, LB 4x4 with 21K miles on it ... Never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck installed and it's in MINT condition. Hope to pick it up this Friday ! The LBZ Diesel is supposed to be a kick butt engine !!
Also had no issues with the 2500HD ... but, as you say, needs have changed.
My problem is ... the Truck is RED ... and there ain't no red on the trailer. !! :h
Cruz - CHV_FRKExplorerThis is probably more of a Tech Issue but THIS is what you need. Then you only need your one cord. On the other hand some get that 50A to 30A shown above where you need a 30A cord. They do that b/c the cord is easier to handle.
But just remember since your Jayco is pretty well equipt and basically designed for 50A you may need to limit the appliances that you are using. You probably can't use both a/c's and do anything else. We've hit a couple parks where the 30A, which was questionable kicked off with just the a/c and the tv/wii on. Good luck.
***On a related note***Now that we are rolling fat with our RLSA loaded, we just bought a 08 3500HD DRW. Not necessarily for the weight police, since we've had zero problems, but needs have changed a little and plus my 07.5 wasn't white to match the trailer!!! If we get a good pic we'll post it.
I think this ties in just enough to note how off the advertised pin weights are, at least for 08. It looks like they are closer for 09. I think it's less on the RLSA since I think they cut a few feet off it according to the brochure. Are their any changes to the RLTS others have noticed not interior related? Like the MONSTER tanks they are putting in them another thing I'm jealous of. - TravlingmanExplorer IIWelcome to the 35RLTS club. Really enjoy ours. There are a few ways to handle 50 amp to 30 amp. You can use this adapter, but you will need a 30 amp cord for this. Or you can get a 50-30 amp cord. I have the adapter, as I found a 30 amp cord real cheap. Hope you enjoy your rig.
- dinoburnerExplorerHi all,
I just picked up my new 35 RLTS today. It is an awesome coach. I do have a question. Since there are several campgrounds that do not have 50 amp service is there something I can do to have at least 30 amp? Thanks in advance for any help.
Dinoburner - BCCDALExplorerHope everyone had a good summer. We just returned from our trip and everything worked good. I was checking things out and I noticed some screws sheared off. The electric cables (and propane hose on the left side) for the sliders are attached to a swing arm assembly. A plate on the arms is attached to the frame with 4 screws. Two were sheared off on the right side and one on the left. I reattached the plates myself. Might want to check yours next time the slides are out.
O - L_MMusicExplorerGood news?? After further review, it looks like just the support bar came loose on the right side of the bed. Probably just need to reattach it to the bed frame. Since we're having things looked at anyway, will let a dealer do it.
Fridg. is on the fritz -- number blinking indicates cannot be handled by owner. Hoping to get it looked at this week. Back-up system works pretty well. - TravlingmanExplorer IISaw a post other day here about a 37RLQS floorplan. Came across the 2009 Designer brochure tonight. On page 11 is the floor plans, and there is a 37RLQS. Nice floor plan. Looks like the TV in living room is on a lift to hide when not in use. No specs listed, but comparing to the 35RLTS above it, that is going to be one long 5er. Has to be at 40 foot. Also see the 36RLTS has theatre seating standard.
