- M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerHey if any of you ever replace the exterior and/or interior lights with LED light bulbs in the 35RLTS let me know so I can get the bulb numbers from you along with where you purchased them from...

Well, I am a lucky man as I now have a garage to park mine under. A good friend of mine had bought one but then sold his 5er. It is a metal RV garage, 36' long. I will have to add one segment to it but that should be pretty easy. Plus, got the thing for $600!!! Going to get it on Friday.

-12F degrees with a wind chill of -30F degrees here this morning...you're jealous cruz aren't you????
Has anyone had a chance to use the 35RLTS in really cold weather, like 20 F and lower?...I know everything is enclosed and the only thing exposed is the outside dump valve...did you have water hookup or just water in the tank...did anything freeze on you overnight?
Let me know...
Hey .. my son is still in Chicago, so I hear it all the time.
Here in Northern AZ it's about 30 degrees right now ... but high today should hit 60 ! (time to get the bike out!)
Down on Phoenix where the Cards and Eagles are playing today, highs are expected to hit 70 + !
(I'm sure you'll return the "favor", and tell me how nice it is up there when it's 118 in PHX. A/C can't keep up with the heat very well once it gets over 105 !!)
Anyway ... We've used our camper down to about 14 degrees. I AM a little disappointed at how much cold air gets in as a result of the slides ... AND that I didn't order it with Dual Pane windows .. :S ..but we've had no troubles at all with freezing. Just made sure we had water in the fresh water tank and used the pump. Also make sure you use the heater to keep the underbelly above freezing !!
Stay Warm ... :B

As a side note, have noticed that if topper full of water and you bring it in all the way without stopping a few times to let water drain, it will roll up with wrinkles on end leaving it to grab wind going down the road. Slide with fridge is biggest culprit.
It will do worst that that! It will put nasty black marks all over the fabric if it gets sucked up under the room. I found this out the hard way! - TravlingmanExplorer II

We have about 5-7 nights under 20F degrees with 2-3 under 10F. Had 1 night at low of 7F with windchill at -10F. After the 7F the next days high was 26F then in the low teens and finally above freezing. Only problem we had was the tank valves froze up. But, I think that was caused because during the day with the sun coming in the windows, the rig heated up good and with fireplace going the furnance didn't run. When I went out in the evening to try and dump, they were frooze up. I put a ceramic heater in underbelly and the gray tank broke loose, but it got dark so I didn't try until next day after it warmed up and they worked.
I filled up the fresh water tank and ran pump for water when it went below freezing, no problems, but pump is noisey. Will be putting some vibration damping under it.
Biggest problem we had was it came a rain, then a very hard freeze. When we tried to pack up in the moring, it was in the upper 20's but starting to snow. When I tried to bring in slides the toppers were froze up with water puddles. Topper wouldn't roll up, laid on top of slide as it came in. Couldn't get on roof as ladder was ice and snow, was going to try and shoot water from hose to see if that would thaw ice, put water spiquet was froze. Ended up having to leave camper at campground to come home. Luckily we were going back in 2 weeks, so it worked out. So we now run slides in after rains to dry toppers.

It looks like someone is in there pushing the door out in the center. Anyone else seen this. Could this be done by the cold? It's been -30 to -35 every night this week. I'll try and get a picture of this tomarrow.
AL - CHV_FRKExplorerI was just thinking of a slightly weighted skirt. Fabric... I might just use around the tank.
- loydtExplorerWe camped in ours over New Years near Boone, NC and it got down below 20. The fresh water tank did not freeze. Everything was fine.
