I had the BAL wheel chocks for my old fiver and with the new Designer the spacing for the tires is only about 2" so I can't use those anymore...switching to RotoChoks as these work when you have a small space between the tires....

Welcome aboard! Thermopane windows are a must. -40?? My freezer doesn't go that low. Now I know why a great number of y'all go south for the winter. That cold I'd guess it be good to have the spouse with ya too.

i guess i should have been a little clearer last time. when i said winterize i meant i would be using it all winter. it wont get moved after the fall but i will be staying at a 4 season campsite with full hookups. i will skirt it with plywood and have heat tape on the city waterline. i have the w/d which i plan on using all winter too. cant wait

We have a flat pizza stone and a deep dish pizza stone. We've used the flat one in a previous camper and it worked well. We have a gas oven at home and use these all the time.
Haven't used either in this one yet, but will be in a couple of weeks !!

Good call on pulling the valve. That was probably too ambitious for me to do that early in the morning. I also forgot to remind of the outside shower. That should be flushed too.

We're hoping to get out next weekend in the Designer Rxxx. We're close enough right. I'm the redheaded step child.

I've got to get those pics dug up for the convection microwave venting for you guys. Sorry we're just been so busy with this animal shelter thing this weekend. We just got back an hour ago from our second day there.

Hi ahagen, congratulations on the deal! One feature on the 35RLTS that I'd not encountered on any previous trailer is that there are 2 sets of low point drains on the water system (plus the tank drain at the back). One wants to make darn sure they flush both with anti-freeze when winterizing. Also, if you are new to this rv business, make sure you use a good quality antifreeze, like Prestone because some of the cheap stuff has been found to freeze at our -30+ temps regardless of what they claim.
