Just a quick update on my Ebay fiasco. Yesterday somebody hacked into my account and bid on just about every item they could find!! I won auctions on laptops, Rolex watches, printers, and even a piece of antique sterling silver!!!
Anyway, Ebay caught on and cancelled all the transactions but I had a lot of sellers who were quite angry as all they knew is I won and did not pay!!
Anyway, I did sell the old Designer to a couple near Detroit and they are on their way to get it as we speak.
See there are some good people in Michigan after all...:B...glad it worked out Loyd - cdelv66ExplorerI'm sure we'll have a lot of questions after we get it. The dealer said it could take up to 2 months, which is going to make this season a little short for us. However, I look at it as giving us time to get acclimated to it. My husband has driven a Class A in the past ... a Southwind ... I think. Anyhow, it's been a very long time, plus my husband isn't very mechanical. We are definitely "luxury" campers!
We purchased the Bravado Brick, because the Grand Cayman Cordovan was discontinued in the 2009 models. That was the one I really wanted. We upgraded to the Deluxe Entertainment Center w/42" TV, Fireplace, Satellite Kit, W&D, Thermal Pane Windows, High Fiberglass Sidewalls, Electric Stabilizer Jacks, 3 Slide-Out Awnings and probably a few other options, also.
Needless to say we are very excited and are planning numerous shorter camping adventures at nearby lakes to start and then going to hit Williamsburg, VA before the season ends.
I wish we could store it here in the driveway, but it would be a little tight, so we're using dry storage this year at a lot for about $30 - $40 / month. (Only a couple miles from home). We may look for a seasonal site while we are out and about enjoying life.
Thanks for your reply. - eaherrmannExplorerWe're happy it turned out to be a happy ending, hope the sale works out well.

You can start by telling us what interior (woops now I see you got the Brick interior) and what options you got it with...
All of us here have the 2008 Designer 35RLTS (except for CHV-FRK who wanted to be different and get the RLSA...:)) and can more than likely answer any questions you have... - cdelv66ExplorerThanks, M Go Blue for directing me here. I thought this forum was shut down. Looking forward to learning more about the Designer.

Newbies - Matt & Carla - 2QAYLExplorerThanks, sounds like some leak-down could be normal, it's been so long since I tented and slept on an air mattress I may have forgotten. Come to think of it I do remember waking up with a rock in my ribs and a tree root under my hip. Ahhh!....camping in a tent...those were the good old days.......NOT!!!!!!!
- CHV_FRKExplorerI've always had that issue.....have not tried anything with the one in the 5er though.
- M_GO_BLUE1ExplorerHave not even had a chance to check out the hide-a-bed yet...took a min trip this past weekend and checked out most things including the AC (nice dust storm when first turned on)...still have to sanitize and fill up with water
- sanderson_66ExplorerDave: I have one of those inflatable beds for kid company and the odd tenting adventure. One thing I noticed was the mattress was noticeably softer in the morning than it started out the previous night. I checked for leaks to no avail. Put it down to the vinyl stretching over night with my fat butt and wife's thin butt on it all night. They do stretch and thus feel softer after some weight has been put on them.
