I reject your suggestion that DS had "thin skin" if he was offeneded. If a person is put off because of being treated lousy, it sure isn't the victims fault. It's the keyboard bully's fault - a person who probably would never have the guts to say the same thing in person.
If DS decided to leave, it was for good reason.

Although I hope he reconsiders.

Here is the post I referred to - not sure why this sort of dribble is just closed and not deleted. DS was one of the more likeable people on here.

I believe DS used to follow the most recent threads, not one particular section. Some categories or lines of posting seem pretty controlled by some mods/regulars in those forums. He likely hit one of those and got fed up.

I saw a post where the author was griping about him being a know-it-all. It was closed by the mod but not deleted for some reason.

Anyone know the reason for this?

I hope he is still around, I enjoy his posts and I think he adds a lot of value to these forums
