Current truck bought used for less than first house price in 1985.
I do not see me buying a new truck, a new F250 diesel King Ranch lists for over 70,000, I could afford one but I see spending that as stupid.
I will rebuild what I have until parts are not available, by then I will be too old to need it anymore.
Current house worth a LOT more than the first and worth more than all the new trucks I could use for the rest of my life. Got lucky and bought waterfront coastal property at the right time for the right price.
