I would like some opinions on a booth vs standing dining set-up. We now have a booth, but will be upgrading, and alot of the newer 5th wheels have the standing dining area, with chairs & table vs the booth type. The fact that the booth converts to a sleeping area is a given, but we've never used it, so that isn't necessarily a selling point for us. Just wanted to hear the pro's & cons of both options. Thanks!!

Most booths don't have room for my beer storage tank I built. Chairs are adjustable. Works better for me. In a BP the underneath storage was nice but in a 5er don't need the space. Also can take the table and chairs out fairly easy if I want to. 4 screws on the base of the table.

A relative has the booth and we have chair type. His booth looks bigger but can only fit the 4 of us like our table. Chairs are way more comfortable!

We had the option, if we ordered, of a booth or free-standing chairs and table. We didn't need the extra sleeping space, as small as it is, so went with the free-standing chairs and table and I think we are much happier that we did. No more space, but a little bit more adjustable for seating. However, those big wrap-around ones might be another matter.

We have the table and chairs. When we have company, we unscrew the 2 screws from the wall and move the table out so it is roomier to sit around. When just the two of us are using it, we keep it against the wall and store items under the two chairs that we don't use. It is versatile for us.

We had a booth in our SRX toy hauler, but the usable space was limited. When we got our new Cameo, we liked the dinette, because we took it out and put in crates for our three dogs. Since we always eat outside or in chairs watching TV it was not needed.
