Original question was about the rim's max psi rating. Some rims will have this info listed to where it can be read with the tire off. Ours do not have this info anywhere listed on it.
I tried contacting the manufacture awhile back with zero success... here is the info if anyone else want to try:

I just contacted them. Our wheels (Series 07 - 6 bolt HiSpec) with the metal valve stems are rated at 110 PSI - my996duc1Explorer

Also, I looked for a PSI rating on the wheel and was unable to find one. I have been running 80PSI.
I was looking for the same answer in a post towards the top of this page. I also couldn't find a rating on the rims.
I have never found an answer about the max rim psi rating.
I run about 75psi cold, figuring it will go up abit once warm. I need to check the psi warm to see what they are when warmed up.

its funny because my sticker on the side of mine says 65 psi to fill the tires. I have always been under the impression that you want to keep them topped off to prevent blowouts. How many miles do you think were on the tires when they blew?
yeah, mine has the same sticker and so does everyone else's..... probably should look at your tires and see what the psi and weight ratings are for the tires you are running. My tire's max weight rating is based off of 80psi in the tires. The tires are rated at a certain weight based on the psi in the tire.... not the psi the manufacture says to run on the sticker. Lower psi will effect the weight capacity of your tires.
Same as the truck you are towing with... the door jamb will have a psi rating listed. I run mine higher when towing the 5th wheel. Once again the tires are rated at a certain weight based on the psi in the tire.... not the psi the manufacture says to run on the sticker.

HiSpec Wheels
_ - bradley0128ExplorerThose are different rims than mine. Mine has simple 8 bolt, 16x6" chrome modular rims. My trailer is triple axle, though. Tires are exactly the same from what I can see here. Boy were they crappy. I bought my trailer as a 1 year old repo. It already had one blowout prior to my ownership, which they replaced with the same tire. When I had another going bad and almost blowout, the guy at Discount Tire said Goodyear Marathon tires are really poor. The are notorious for having tread separation, which is where the tires separate at the belts in places, delaminating. I had the one with a worn spot approx 4x14" on the outer portion of the tread. It was not due to imbalance. I noticed it at a fuel stop right as it had worn through the tread, all the belts, and was down to the inner rubber. There was air starting to leak through the surface due to its thinness. I was lucky. I replaced all the others when I noticed two more wearing similarly. I now have all Green Ball tires. They guys said that Carlisle are also very good.
If I was you all, I'd replace the entire set ASAP and sell the current ones used, if they are still in decent shape. I'm sure they'd be fine for a normal, lighter duty, run around town flatbed.
I'm going to contact Eclipse about possibly getting a new sticker. It has faded so bad I cannot even make out the black lines anymore. - RacormanExplorerYikes.... here is that sticker you guys have been referencing and boy is it wrong information. Attitude really should send out a letter to their customers on this one :E

That is a Series 06 HiSpec wheel -capacity is 3200 lbs in a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern. 80 psi is ok and verifiable with HiSpec.
Thanks mapguy,
Just so there is no confusion..... these are the wheels that come with the Attitude along with E rated tires calling for 80 PSI. They are actually Series 07 - 6 bolt HiSpec Here are the specs
I have no idea why the rigs would have a sticker calling for 65 PSI.... that's inviting blowouts.
As a side note.... these style wheels make it impossible to hang alignment tools on as they have no edge lip. If you take your TH to have the axles aligned, you'll have to ask the shop to mount regular steel wheels on the rig for the alignment process.

Was that sticker on the wheel? If so, where was it, on the front or back of the wheel?
Anyone else have these stickers....? These rigs come with E rated tires requiring 80 PSI cold pressure.
BTW, I had this blow out coming back from the desert a couple of weeks ago. I also needed to have the axles aligned as I was getting very upoor and uneven tire wear.
Thanks

I agree that you don't want the PSI higher than the rim is rated for, but if that would be the case, then you would have underrated rims and need different ones. I was always taught by my father, as well as the guys at many Discount Tire locations, to run the tires at the max rated PSI on a trailer. Also to run the max PSI on your truck tires when doing pulling. You can run less PSI to provide a nicer ride during daily driving as long as they are wearing fine.
Does anyone know if we can get replacement stickers? - TRIPLE8ExplorerHi, allthough the sticker on the side of mine says 65 I've always aired up to 80 lbs. (E rating with 110 rims)

Any chance you could post a photo of that sticker.... ?
That sticker makes no sense???? - danojenoExplorerMy sticker is on the side of the trailer...and I too have abnormal wear. Mine are cupping on the outside. My brakes are also grabby, but that is another story.
