- my996duc1ExplorerCheck your fuel stations !!
Mine was hanging by the one bolt on the frame and the fuel hose. Both on the backside of the box by the frame.
It appears I should have had a strap (maybe) around the bottom of the box. Can anyone confirm this ??
Mine had also broke off all three small screws that go from the top of the box(near door) into the underneath of the camper.
I replaced the three broken off screws but would like see how the strap goes around the fuel station box. Anyone have pics from the ground looking up under the fuel station box ??
Thanks !

Any chance you could ask the dealer what this 20 amp circuit breaker controls?
It not for the refrigerator as that is on one of the 15 amp breakers.
All the other breakers were labeled........this one is not
Thanks
I asked and the guy gave an answer but really didn't know.
He said it is a general breaker. I asked him what it controls and he said the general stuff.... he was clueless. Sorry.

Any of you guys have brake squeal. When coming to a stop I often get a pretty loud squeal. Also, the indicators on my fresh tank seem to go from empty to full, with no middle ground...
Brake Squeal:
did you burnish the new brake shoes (break-in procedure)as outlined in your axle owners manual? Also, if the adjustment is too loose they will squeal too. On my 12x2 Alko 6K brakes -the squeal didn't go away until I put an approx. 3:1 taper on the leading edge of the both brake shoes of each assemebly. - danojenoExplorerAny of you guys have brake squeal. Couple of questions -
1) I have a cable tv type hook up on the rear driver's side.
The guy who did the walk around with me said it was for if a campsite had cable tv hook up.
I forgot to ask if I need to throw a switch somewhere to go from the cable to the antenna. Anyone know what needs to be done to switch between the two ??
2) Should I re-key the outside "CH751" doors. Anyone know where I can get a bunch of the same keyed locks for all these little doors ??
3) Should I shut the valves off on the gas cylinders when I am not using them ?? Should I shut off the one I am not using or have both on when we are using them ??

The switch to go from antenna to cable is behind the tv, kind of hard to get to. I turn on only one tank and when not in use turn all off. - BakersfieldExplorer2. If you store anything worth taking, I would suggest changing out the locks. You can find file cabinet locks at Lowes or Home Depot. If you want to spend $12.00 per lock, combi locks Here. However, the locks only keep honest people honest. Anyone with a crowbar and half a second can pop the doors open. In fact many of the entry door locks are keyed the same.
3. I would recommend shutting off the gas when not in use. Once someone bumped the stove when we unloading after a trip, and drained the tanks. - my996duc1ExplorerCouple of questions -

_ - my996duc1Exploreranother sticker question...
if they weigh the toyhauler and print out the sticker on the outside (by the door) do they also calculate the max weight capacity for a custom sticker inside the door jamb or is it a generic label ??
My weight is 7940lbs on the outside by the door.
Inside door jamb sticker is 3960lbs.
_ - danojenoExplorerHow high are the tops of your bed rails? I have a stock Ford f250 and dont know if I need to flip the axles or not. How much lift did the flip give you?
The tops of my bed rails are 56" and the flip raised the trailer about 4". If the truck is a 4X4, you just might need to flip. - my996duc1Explorer
