double pane windows worth it?
Looking for a new 5er. One dealer said that the double pane windows only increase the R insulation factor by +1 or +2. That may be, but I also thought the double panes decreased the water condensatio...

Our DRV is 6 years old and we travel in it 4-5 months per year. We have some good friends who have the exact same unit as ours and they have had the same problem. They began to have problems sooner than we did, I would say in about 2 years. I have read on this forum that there are ways to fix them yourself, we need to look into that.
My winter neighbors in AZ have a 07 DRV and had the rear window replaced twice be cause of condensation.The last time the installer told him to put in single pane as he has replaced plenty. So far this one has held up.
