Cummins12v98 - you do have good things to say, won't ever block you, but you have to admit, when it comes to B&W - you are a zealot. It's like you always have to be right. And now you have the insurance issue going. That $100 premium sounds too good - is that per month?
I don't HAVE TO be right. I like to promote Items I have found to be of superior quality, function and US Made if at all possible. I used to think RBW hitches were good but I always did a pull test with it.
A lot of people do a pull test and that is okay with me. I have decided with my hitch that is a waste of time. I choose to a visual test before pulling away it is a step like the pull test is a step. I don't get upset with anyone that wants to do one. Not so sure why so many get upset with me for promoting not doing a pull test and I give reasons why one is not needed.
I know there are many others that don't do pull tests also but they are probably afraid they will be slammed for saying so. Not just B&W owners.
The insurance thing is my Comprehensive part of my insurance will cover any damage if I were to drop my 5er on my truck, all for a $100 deductible and won't cause my rates go go up. The same as if I turned in broken windshield.
