dump valves
I have a 2010 dutchman denali and i was wondering if any body knew which lever empties the which tank. my old bumper pull it was the big lever was the black water is that standerd for all trailers. my new trailer has 3 tanks. thanks Doug

Yes I have been there. - If you can see them - The black tank will be a 3" valve. The grey and galley will usually be smaller. I'm sure there are exceptions though. Also, your toilet will be directly over the black tank.
If you can't see anything, and don't want to open any coverings, running some water will tell you quickly enough.
Oh, and get yourself a clear plastic elbow to connect to the dump outlet. Then you can see the flow and it will be pretty easy to tell which is black waste.
It is amazing to me that they would be too cheap to apply some labels. Sheesh! - Mine are labeled Black,Grey,Galley.
Dump 'em all,close all valves,add water to one tank,.which valve empties that tank?
Repeat with second tank. - Food coloring. With 3 empty milk jugs mix up a gal of water in each and food coloring. Each a different color. Dump one in kitchen sink, one in shower, and one in commode. Go outside and see what color comes out as you try the different handles and label accordingly. Hopefully the commode will be one, the shower and bathroom lavatory another and the third for the kitchen.

Yep mine were labeled also. The one labeled black dumps the grey water for the bathroom. That was a learning experience. :S- I guess I would empty both tanks,close the valves,then run a bunch of water in the sink then find out which valve empties the water to sewer.
