We have not started yet just bought a Class A, but I (Sally) plan to drive, I will ease into it. I and my husband want and need to know that I can get us home if something were to happen to him. God forbid. I want to start in a large large parking lot with turns, backing up and such. I do not really want to drive through a city, I would rather take over when we are on a highway or something. But I am going to do it, I taught him to drive a boat and dock it properly, it is his turn to teach me to drive a Motorhome. Let her drive, you can take a nap in the passenger seat.
