I've been driving our 36' RV for over a year. It took me exactly 1 month of practice on weekends in parking lots to get comfortable with forward, backward, lane changing, turning, parking it in a back-in spot, AND doing all the exterior hooking up after arriving in the campground. One trip to Vegas taught me how to cope with high winds on the interstate. I've even learned the process of dumping after a camping trip too. When I was a kid my grandpa died and we were stuck in Oregon with our mom and the trailer, with no-one who knew how to drive it back to California. Dad had to fly home and take care of business and had the added burden of finding a friend to fly back to Oregon and drive us home. Lesson learned... never put yourself in a position where you are stranded with no knowledge to get yourself and your possessions to where you and they need to be. Its always a good idea to have back-up, and If shes asking to do it you can bet she CAN do it.
