Did you have an RV driving class? or did you just learn on your own by doing it?
Take the RV to a large parking lot and let her maneuver it around, back it up, do whatever she needs to do to feel comfortable and then take it out on the roads. When we got the popup, we had my brother-in-law take BOTH of us to teach us the ways. It was easier for me to take instruction from someone that was NOT my husband and we didn't argue or fight about too much or too little guidance.
If you give her a "LITTLE" guidance, or better yet, get another RV'er that is NOT you, to give her some guidance, she will be fine.
I have pulled all of ours from popup to hybrid, to bumper pull travel trailer and now the fifth wheel. I can pull it, I can park it, back it, set it up, take it down and whatever needs to be done. I don't like some of the jobs, like dumping the sewer, but I CAN do it.
Several years ago, DH got sick while we were on vacation, ended up in the hospital for 3 days and I had to take it down and drive it home with him laying in the passenger seat. I sure would have hated that if I hadn't known how to take it down and drive it.
