Sure hope that the folks turning water heater ON/OFF are doing so out of conservation/eco friendly ideals vs budget constraints
Worked with a guy that would drive 5 miles out of his way to get gasoline cause it was cheaper
Can't remember the number of times I stopped to to help him out cause he ran out of gas :S
Convenience is worth the few pennies each day.
