Electrical problem with 2014 Heritage Glenn

Hey all, I'm a new RV owner and new to the forum. I wish my first post wasn't because of a problem I was having but I do need some help.
We bought our 2014 heritage glenn 356qbq about a month or so ago to live in after we sold our house and while we were building a new one. We've been living in it for 3 weeks but have noticed a reoccurring problem. Randomly the 120v power will cut off leaving just the 12v stuff running off of the batteries. I check the campers breaker box and nothing is ever tripped, I then check the dedicated 50amp breaker that the camper is running off of and it's never tripped, I then go to the receptacle to make sure it hasn't pulled out and I've never found it moved but yet the power will stay off for usually around an hour to an hour and a half, until suddenly it'll cut back on.
It's happened 3 times now, and all 3 times the power has come back on at a time I'm not actively doing anything, like I'll be standing in the living room thinking and it'll cut back on.
Since this is my first camper I have very little experience, so I'm hoping someone can point me towards some other things to check.
Thanks in advance for an help!

  • Next time it goes off use your multimeter to check if you have power at your power distribution box where the breakers are in the camper. You may have a loose connection there where the power comes into it. Your multimeter is going to be your best friend for tracking this problem down. When the power goes out start checking at the furthest point of your camper and start working toward it until you find where the power stops. Do you have a 50 amp cord plugged into a 50 amp outlet or are you adapting down to something else? That may be your problem too.
  • Sounds like a loose connection..check all that you can find.
  • I've also checked the power at the breaker box and going into the camper at the cord outside with a multimeter and there's no problems there either.
