Enclosed Trailers (car haulers)
Looking at purchasing a 24' enclosed for short trips and not having to pull the 5th wheel around. I am in Socal and needless to say there is a mass shortage and extended wait times to purchase new....

Long ways from SoCal, but MTI trailers out of TN is a quality low end trailer.
But that is of no use to you unless you plan on driving a couple 3 days.
It would be more productive if you posted the brands you’re considering since they’re generally regional mfgs save for the big name mfgs.

I only owned the one I bought for about 2 weeks, lol. Bought it, loaded it up and drove it cross country at 80-90mph and then sold it.
Things that stood out in a "bargain" brand trailer standard features.
-Full plywood wall lining,
-Engineered wood floor that very robust and supposed to be waterproof. I've bought numerous "budget" cargo trailers that needed another layer of flooring just to be acceptable for anything other than foot traffic.
-Side door, even on little trailers with heavy duty bar lock.
-Decent amount of stone/rock protection diamond plate
- Nice LED lighting, solid diamond plate fenders, standard interior light
- Picking color if you order one is no upcharge.
- Ramp door felt solid, no flexing
