After owning my Crossroads trailer for a short time I was notified of a recall on the fireplace and was sent a power box and new remote to attach to my fireplace. I was advised that it could spark a fire if not replaced. Not wanting to take a chance I quickly replaced the electrical box. Fast forward a few years and the box and remote died. I contacted the company that provided and was advised the threat no longer is present due to different frequencies now and no replacement is available. Now I have to do manual on/off and have considered just purchasing a remote and electrical box that are found everywhere around the Hoilidays. It should work or I can continue to do it manually.
