My thought would be if the dry weight is 9000 lbs., the loaded weight will be around 11,000 lbs. That would put the hitch weight at 2200 lbs., or more, figuring 20 percent hitch weight. If you're over with a hitch weight of 1800 lbs. you'll be over more with the trailer loaded to travel.
I figured same percentage as dry hitch weight, around 17%, and perhaps not loaded to the very limit. At GVWR that assumption would put me at 1900 lbs hitch weight - just over the limit, but without passengers and weight of the hitch itself.
Well 8,895# dry, and a GVWR of 10,995# your pin should be between 20% to 25% for good behavior while towing. Too light a pin will cause "chucking" which a feeling of the 5er pushing/pulling back and forth.
I personally found 22% to be necessary on my rig to get rid of chucking. That would be 2,419# at full 5er GVWR.
It all depends if you are OK with towing with your TV over the Class 2 GVWR limit of 10,000#. If not ok with over GVWR the get a F350 either SRW or DRW.
It all depends on your choices.
I will say I tow a 32' 5er with a GVWR of 12,360# and as we start our life as full timers with a 2001 Ram 2500 with a GVWR of 8,800# and a rear axle rating of 6,084# and still under axle rating. TV sits level when hooked up with just OEM camper package.
