As others pay attention to the trucks rawr as it will be carrying all the load in the bed. Rawr = the lessor of tires/wheels/axle and rear suspension.
The axle is good for over 9000 lbs so no problems their. Most gas or diesel 250/2500 trucks can safely handle 2800-3200 ln payloads in the bed. The F250 truck will be fine for just a 10995 gvwr 5th wheel trailer.
You sure don't need a bigger truck or a smaller trailer.
I pull a 11200 lb 5er on a 2500 Dodge. The truck has a 6000 rawr and weighs 5200-5400 lb on the rear axle depending on how long the trip will be.
