The difference between the 250/2500 and the 350/3500 in most cases is driven by Class 2 and Class 3 truck weight ratings and licensing. RAM has changed the rear suspension to coil springs or less capacity air bags on 2500's to further separate the two, however GM's and Ford's remain a leaf or spaced block apart.
Dealer lots are full of 250/2500's because they believe that is what the majority wants and are not educated enough to know to buy a 350/3500. Chris
