Thats why getting the Andersen hitch makes even more sense.You verify what many are finding out buying those expensive slider hitches, and never needing them. I towed with a heavy cumbersome to remove slider hitch for years that I never used. Now with the Andersen with the short bed Ram 3500 Megacab , no problem with clearance with the Andersen.
I will never go back to a conventional hitch again, slider or non slider.
