From the video, the hitch is a slider hitch. A square tube design, but probably not Reese. More significant is that the brackets that slip into the cross-bed rails are clearly visible, which means the rails most likely remained secured to the truck. Most likely, someone forgot to install the hitch pins (which are nearly invisible under square tube slider hitches). Then with a sharp maneuver, the hitch rotated sideways out of the cross-bed rails. What also supports this is the fact that the passenger side slider leg is undamaged as it would have lifted first while the drivers side is bent. This is also consistent with the truck remaining upright. Someone made an expensive mistake.
