For the two fifth wheels you are considering the pin weights would be at least 3000 pounds for one and 3500 for the heavier plus about 200 pounds for the hitch. The single rear wheel truck will have a lower payload amount but it might be enough for you, your family, stuff, tools, and the fifth wheel. Only you can decide that. However, for an incremental small amount more in purchase 'entry fee' the dually comes with a stronger rear axle, more payload, and, of course, more wheel/tire capacity. To me, the dually is well worth the few extra dollars it costs as an option for the already expensive truck. If you like Fords, go to the Ford on line towing guide. The towing and hauling max weights are all there and the dually is really quite a bit more truck especially as it relates to payload.
