First 5th Wheel--Bad Braking???
Hi, I just got my first 5th wheel and am a bit concerned about the braking. It weighs 12,500 pounds and has a 2500 pound pin weight. I am pulling it with my Ram 3500 which has a 4,200 pound max pay...

I believe them just based on their demeanor in dealing with them yesterday. It would have been much easier for them just to send me off with a simpler excuse that would not require me to leave my trailer (3 hours away and they knew I was planning to wait for it)
They acknowledged that this was bizarred and had not explanation for how it would have happened. They said this sometimes happens when "the clips come off on the magnets" but that had not happened in my case.
Would improper adjustment and too much drag cause that to happen perhaps or maybe a brake controller that was not working correctly on the delivery vehicle?
