The bad part is that everytime you let a deep cycle battery get discharged below 12.0VDC which is around the 50% charge state it starts doing damage to the battery. The battery loses it performance and will shorten it's life cycle.
We work hard at trying not to ever discharge our batteries below the 50% charge state.
