I bought the adapter to plug into home as that was our first thought.then we got home and found that I was about ten ft. Short with my 50ft 12awg cord (dealer told me 12gauge would be ok). Driveway has a pretty sharp turn,not sure if I could make it,but can try. A little disappointed in the info I received from dealer and manufacturer but as you all say, it is a learning experience.
