Now that we know the rest of the story that it is a residential fridge it gets its 110v power from a inverter running off of a battery bank. Your dealer during walk through with you should have explained how this works . A lot of the reply on here are in reference to a non residential fridge and do not apply. If your 12 ga extension is too short adding a smaller gauge will supply enough current to charge batteries but do not attempt to run AC, or water heater.
