fixing slide out

Have a bedroom slide that I need to change electric motor on. System is Swintec. Bedroom slide is all the way in and I need to get it partially out to remove motor. Unplugged motors from controller but slide will not move. How do I get the slide out so I can get to the retainer screw in the motor?

Thanks in advance

Rig is a 2015 Tesla T3212

Did you read the instruction about pushing the mode button 6 times than pressing and holding it the seventh time until controller goes into override mode? Page 7 Here!

Yes, tired this a few times with no luck

Then page 8 directs you to take off the facia on the outside of the slideout. Don't know how big yours is, but you would probably want to talk to someone that has done it before to get a general idea of what to do to take it off and put it back on again.

But, I always was under the impression if you disconnect the motors, you can push the slideout out (Albeit, with a lot of muscle). However, calling LCI (Tech Services number is in that manual also) would be a good idea at this point.
  • I am sure this won't help since I have a different bedroom slide.

On mine I sat the mattress off and on its side against the closet, then unscrewed all the sheeting that was under the mattress, pulled it up and walla, all the working parts were bolted to the floor.
  • When I had this problem, I called my dealer and he said to cut one of electric wires to motor, as motor has brake built in and that will release the brake, or without this slide would work out going down the road.
