Flashing light question

I recently purchased the Montana 3735MK. We saw one of the units with the lights in the front flashing. Does anyone know how to do this? Is there a chance of damaging something?
  • You can also just put a jumper wire between them and they will stay on steady, not flash.
  • Thank you for the advice.

I have been to several parks. And lights seem to be a favorite thing to show off. One camper has a corner spot full of lights. No one ever complains. People have always enjoyed the freedom to express themselves. I think that is why I am looking forward to the RV life. Get away from a neighborhood full of haters.
  • Yes, as stated above, get a standard automobile flasher from any auto outlet, even Wall Mart has them in the auto section, and plug the two pins in at position 4 and 3 on the trailer pig tale. (upper right sample below):

Plug it in between pins 4 and 3 on the diagram below:

I have one, and flash it on the 4th of July only! It's my way of saying, "Happy Birthday - America!"
  • Circus people. now that's funny. never hear that said before. my sister inlaw would hang Christmas lights on the awning. I told her she had to much time on her hands and she should be thinking about what for supper. won't say what she told me. LOL
  • You can plug a standard automobile flasher unit (small silver color can with two pins) in the 7 pin cable. Between Pins 1 and 2 I think. Anyway it is the pin that connect to the battery and the pin for the running lights.
  • These are Circus people. Drawing attention. :B
Just be kind to you neighbor. Some of us do not care for all the lights.
