ATC warning light constantly flashing

We recently purchased an 06 Country Coach Intrigue 530 with the C13 Cat engine. Although we had a complete inspection by a certified inspector, we are recently experiencing a new problem. Whenever the engine is running, whether parked or moving, the ATC warning light is flashing on and off. There is obviously a malfunctioning sensor somewhere, but where do I start to look? Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what I should check first? Is there a relay related to this function. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    For the second time: NO.
Did you see the post about the switch ??
  • Thank you for your information. I am not mechanical enough to find and/or replace the sensors. We are nearly 200 miles from the nearest facility that could service it. Is there any danger or chance of damage or brake lockups if we drive and use the motor home before we can get it diagnosed and repaired? The fact that it is flashing anytime the engine is running and parked tells me it must be a faulty sensor?
  • At work we have a truck with ATC and the light will flash when it’s manually activated by a in cab switch on the dash board. See if you have a switch, it may of been accidentally activated.
  • ATC is automatic traction control and is controlled in the anti lock brake module. the two most common suppliers are Wabco and Bendix, the surest way to find the problem on a Wabco system is to find a dealer that has the proper software to read the codes, most truck dealers do.
The Bendix module has a light display on the module that will indicate the problem. to clear after repair run a magnet across the display
the location of the module varies some are made with the relay valve above the rear axle some are a hunting expedition
example, sensor light and rf lights on check rf sensor

depending on how mechanical you are you can check the wheel sensors with a multi meter, there is a sensor on each wheel and it has a harness that can be disconnected and resistance checked, most sensors have somewhere between 1000 and 2000 ohms resistance but that varies with the mfg. however all 4 should be close. if one is bad if you can access it pull it out with pillars and install a new one, the adjustment is push it in until it touches the tone wheel, it will kick back to the proper clearance once the MH is driven, if all check ok adjust them all and drive the MH. if the problem is corrected the light will go out at 5 to 10 mph

That conclusion is not obvious at all.
Sensors are there to detect real problems.
It might just be doing it's job.

First you need to know what ATC is and what the flashing light is supposed to mean.
A shop visit is by far the best way to start......even if all they do is diagnose the problem for you.
