I already had the Reese 16K from my F150 so I got the picture frame adapter to continue using it. However, after grunting it out of the F350 last month, I now plan to get the Andersen Ultimate 3200 and sell the Reese. More clearance for my short bed F350 and less weight for this old body to wrestle with.

I'm with you on that, I even have an electric hoist at home to remove that monster hitch ,and frame, but does me no good away from home. I too need a lighter hitch that I can handle away from home. - takenExplorer II

Did you already have your Reese hitch? If so I understand the adapter. However, Reese does make a direct fit slider for the Ford factory prep that wouldn't' require an additional adapter. Not sure if you were aware of that.

And they are pretty proud of it too! I helped a friend of mine use the frame adapter and installed a B&W slider all for around $1100. - takenExplorer IIDid you already have your Reese hitch? Reese Elite Slider - boatsplusExplorerThanks very much, really appreciate the feedback. will see how it rolls in a couple months.
- GoPackGoExplorerI have a 2013 with the prep kit and also went to an air hitch. No problems at all.
Others have stated that Reese makes the adaptor plate that came with my Hensley hitch, but I cannot confirm.
