The past problems with Ford's diesels seem to be pretty far in the rear mirror. Any of the big 3 will have similar features like tow/haul and exhaust brakes.

my experience with ford diesels as my former employers company's fleet vehicles versus gas soured me on the ford diesels pre 2010. they were great till 100k then all went south.
my friend made a good point recently. don't judge a 2017 or 2018 diesel engine based what problems pre 2010 diesels had. the newer powerstrokes are rock solid as are , gm and dodge
